"A Kiss for Rio" - CD Release Concert on June 20!

Brazilian jazz group O Som Do jazz celebrates the release of their second CD, "A Kiss for Rio" at the Palladium Theater Side Door on Thursday, June 20!

The 7-piece band is fronted by Rio de Janeiro singer Andrea Moraes Manson and includes Alejandro Arenas (bass), Alfredo Rivero (guitar), Mark Feinman (drums), David Cubillos (piano), Austin Vickrey (sax) and David Manson (trombone). The group explores Brazil's rich palatte of rhythms and styles including Baiao, marcha, Bossa Nova, samba-jazz, chill, samba-funk and MPB in Portuguese and English.
