"A Kiss for Rio" - CD Release Concert on June 20!
The 7-piece band is fronted by Rio de Janeiro singer Andrea Moraes Manson and includes Alejandro Arenas (bass), Alfredo Rivero (guitar), Mark Feinman (drums), David Cubillos (piano), Austin Vickrey (sax) and David Manson (trombone). The group explores Brazil's rich palatte of rhythms and styles including Baiao, marcha, Bossa Nova, samba-jazz, chill, samba-funk and MPB in Portuguese and English.
Enjoy real Brazilian jazz in the cabaret environment of the Side Door! Admission is $15 general. The concert begins at 7:30 PM.
