Oba Oba Bossa Nova!

O Som Do Jazz performs at the Music Center at St. Petersburg College on Sunday, October 3 at 7:30 PM. The 7-member band will perform music by Tom Jobim, Edu Lobo, Baden Powell and more. Admission is $10 and benefits students in the Music Industry/Recording Arts program at St. Petersburg College. The Music Center is located at 6605 Fifth Ave. North in St. Petersburg, FL.

OSDJ July 9 - Summer Jazz Series at MFA

Jazz: the Art of Music will feature O Som Do Jazz at the Museum of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg on July 9 from 6 - 9 PM. Admission is $10 for members and $15 for non-members and will include admission to galleries in the Hazel Hough wing.

This is an ideal way to celebrate the beginning of the weekend in one of the most spectacular settings in the area. The groups will perform in the glass Conservatory, and listeners can also mingle on the terrace overlooking the bay.

The new MFA Café will be open for dinner and there will be a cash bar available for beer and wine. No food or drink is allowed in the galleries. Table reservations are strongly suggested. Contact the MFA cafe at 727-896-2667 ext. 259.
